About Us
ABOUT THE COMPANY IN BRIEF
‘Hikae’, represents earth and the man-kind in ‘Ikebana’, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It aims to take us towards being sensitive; a sensitivity towards the fragile balance in nature. It is with this guiding philosophy that ‘Hikae Infotech LLC’ was founded in New Jersey, USA, as an Aluminium Production Facility. ‘Hikae’ is a multinational company and it is a part of ‘Hikae’ Group of companies. We have been successfully doing business in the USA, central America and India since 1987.
With the world focusing on environmental sustainability, the future technologies in construction need to include more energy efficient systems, renewable energy integration, smart building management, and eco-friendly construction practices. As a diversification process, Hikae entered into the construction material business with Hikae Buildings Suppliers Pvt. Ltd., a construction material manufacturing subsidiary. It also led us to adopt an effective construction system that is based on traditional materials such as steel, expanded polystyrene and concrete. Combined in a single product it gives enormous structural capacity together with excellent thermo-acoustic insulation and that at the same time allows a significant reduction of costs and execution time.
Our studies pointed out that Expanded Polystyrene Panel technology will be used extensively in building construction for small, medium and large construction projects, both residential and commercial. In advanced countries, this is also used in construction of roads and bridges and major infrastructural projects. It is better equipped to resist natural and man-made disasters like earthquake, cyclone, fire. Being Monolithic and inert, it resists dampness, water seepage, rodents and other infestations too.
‘Hikae Eques’ with improved properties, stronger yet lighter in weight, could enhance structural integrity, durability, and energy efficiency in construction projects. Being ideal for places with hot and humid weather like in India, Gulf countries, and other countries with extreme temperatures conditions, it helps maintain a temperature difference inside the building by 8 degrees C due to its thermal insulation property. This means a huge savings on the power bills owing to air-conditioning requirements (Cooling or heating). Due to such capabilities, this technology has been popular in Europe, Central America, South America, African countries, Philippines, Indonesia, and certain cyclone prone areas of the United States. This technology has been in use in India since 2014 and the Indian Government has been promoting this type of construction as this falls under the umbrella of green construction.
